Position Overview

 

The Tech Interactive is seeking 2 Marketing Interns for an 8 week program. Within the Tech Interactive, Engagement and Experience teams support various lines of business with a mixture of non-technical and technical roles. The people that support the Tech’s business functions have a unique mix of backgrounds, experiences, and skills and our teams are full of dynamic and incredibly thoughtful and hardworking people passionate about technology, digital media, arts and entertainment.

 

As an intern, you will learn, grow, and contribute to the Tech’s business while working on exciting projects alongside top professionals. Each week, interns will be paired with a different marketing team mentor who will guide them through a key functional area. The program will culminate in a final presentation where interns showcase their contributions and learnings.

Responsibilities 

  • Create and publish social media content with guidance from digital marketing staff.
  • Represent the brand at community events through boothing and outreach.
  • Provide on-site support for event logistics, including setup and teardown.
  • Assist in organizing digital media assets for marketing use.
  • Support grassroots fundraising initiatives through data entry and outreach

Minimum Qualifications

  • Students currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree across all departments (marketing, design, or business)
  • At the end of the internship, you must return to school to continue your education or the internship must be the last requirement for you to graduate.

  • Remarkable attention to detail
  • Results-oriented, persistent, and meticulous
  • Adept at handling a varying workload and high volume of information
  • Sharp written and verbal communication and organizational skills required
  • Resourceful, highly organized with the ability to meet deadlines, and completion of tasks and projects assigned
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment
  • Prior related internship(s), group or personal project exposure

Working Conditions and Schedule 

  • In office 3-5 days per week 9:30 am - 5 pm (Tues, Wed, and Thurs); weekends as needed for community or membership events.

The pay range for this role is:

$19 per hour
