Why does the job exist?
Conducts confidential interviews in a professional manner and prepares investigative reports within required time frames. Incident Management maintain accurate and detailed compliance tracking, reporting and trending for facility
How does it get done?
Lead Investigator for all allegations, internal reviews, and maintains complete investigation files while abiding by set timelines for compliance. Incident Management Coordinator ensures that standardized procedures and methods are used documentation, analysis, reporting and ongoing management of documents. Provides effective communication and visibility of incident tracking and internal investigations; with the ability to prioritize as incidents or investigations are received based on needed response.
Who are the customers?
Our facility is a secure facility which serves the needs of adolescent males ages 13-17 with a history of violence and aggression; customers are residents, staff, and both internal and external reporting divisions/agencies.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will have experience conducting investigations, be proficient with computers and various software applications, along with tracking and reporting incidents and/or investigations.
Minimum Qualification
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, Public Administration, Criminology, or other related field, with two (2) years of experience in accounting, auditing, and investigation, or insurance adjusting and investigating or investigative report writing. Any combination of education from an accredited college or university in a related field and/or direct experience in this occupation totaling six (6) years may substitute for the required education and experience.

Employment Requirements
Must pass background and get clearance. Must possess and maintain a current Defensive Driving Course Certificate from the State of New Mexico or must pass and receive Defensive Driving Course Certification within six (6) months of date of hire as a condition of continued employment.
Working Conditions
Work is performed in an office setting with exposure to Visual/Video Display Terminal (VDT) and extensive personal computer and phone usage. Some sitting, standing, bending and reaching may be required.
