This position is in the General Services Administration (GSA), Office of the Deputy Administrator, Project Management Office (PMO) for the Technology Modernization Fund (TMF).
Duties
Located within the Office of the Deputy Administrator, this position is situated in the Project Management Office (PMO) for the Technology Modernization Fund (TMF). The TMF is responsible for assisting agencies applying for TMF funding to advance their modernization initiatives, providing guidance across every stage of the proposal development process, from initial concept creation to the final award.
As an Operations Investment Specialist, you will:
- Support performance of studies requiring evaluation and identification of a variety of operational problems, evaluating alternative solutions, identifying potential actions, and preparing reports or briefings.
- Use qualitative and quantitative analytical techniques to research and gather information and applicable work methods and procedures to meet deadlines.
- Assist in monitoring and evaluating assigned programs and initiatives, performs basic tracking and analysis of program data, and prepares reports to support program operations and established goals and objectives.
- Assist higher-graded specialists with meetings, conferences, and other organizational events.
- Draft routine written documents and/or Interagency Agreements (IAAs) and supports communication of business practices and processes.
