Reports To: Director of Category Management
Job Type: Part time (20 hrs./week)
Location: Onsite, Lawrenceville, GA
Pay Rate: $18/hr.
Duration: Early September- Early December (with opportunities for extension)
POSITION OVERVIEW
Majors Management, LLC is a leader at operating, developing, servicing and supporting retail convenience centers and gas station properties, and a leading distributor of high-quality branded motor fuels. Majors currently owns and operates approximately 300 convenience stores. The primary purpose of the Category Management Intern is to assist in admin duties related to the Category Management team that supports the buying/selling/placement of products in our stores.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support product purchasing by ensuring phases from vendor meetings to shelf placement is documented, defined, and administrative tasks are completed
- Coordinating contracts
- Adding new products to the proper systems
- Serve as a liaison between vendors (Frito Lay, Coca Cola, etc.) and the Category Management, Pricebook, and Marketing teams
- Taking meeting notes for department meetings and creating outlines to assist with tracking project responsibilities
- Building reports using excel data ensuring data accuracy
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
- Ability to work onsite 20 hours a week in Lawrenceville, GA
- Eagerness to learn and willingness to adapt in a collaborative environment
- Authorized to work in the United States without restriction
